Loosen your ties or kick off your steel-toed boots, because it's time to clock out and clock IN to Variety Society KC Presents: Hard At Work! This industry themed burlesque and variety show acknowledges our resilient and hard working members in the community. While times are tough for just about everyone, we want to show our support and encouragement to all pushing through it, because we wouldn't have what we have today without YOU! Sit back and enjoy performances brought to you by: Knotty Orchid, Trixy Treat, Majastique Taz Man'ja, and more! Show begins 7pm, doors open at 6:30pm. Located at The Westport Bowery (inside Westport Flea) Venue is cash only with ATM's on site. Variety Society KC related purchases may be made through our designated card readers. Show is 18+ Bar and Kitchen, Raffle and Prizes! Don't forget to bring your tip money!

lovita pop & Tygris Calcutta
Meet Kansas City local burlesque stars, Lovita Pop and Tygris Calcutta! Lovita had a dream: to showcase talented artists of various styles and skill levels by creating a fun and paid opportunity to perform on stage for a live audience. VSKC would NOT be what it is today without Tygris Calcutta: as a trans POC member of the LGBTQ+ community, Tygris is an advocate for supporting, uplifting, and fighting for the rights of these marginalized groups. Together their passion for creativity, diversity, accessibility, and proper payment for performers of all kinds and skill levels is what makes these events a unique and important part of Kansas City’s live entertainment scene.
